Shock treatment: 1:1000 L (Ratio of EM•Viro diluted with pond water); Thereafter: between 1:1000 to 1:10 000 (Ratio of EM•Viro with pond water volume) (depending on the nature of effluent and environmental conditions), weekly or monthly. Minimum pond retention times of 10-15 days is recommended.
Initial: 2:1000L or up to 5:1000 L (Ratio of EM•Viro diluted with water) in severe circumstances; Maintenance: To maintain a healthy and functioning septic system dose 1L of EM•Viro every month straight into the toilet.
Mix 1L EM•Viro in a bucket with 10L water and pour into the toilet; Thereafter: Mix 100ml EM•Viro in a bucket with 10L water and pour into the toilet once per week. Adjust dosage and intervals according to load and odour levels.
(odour can be reduced to 80% within 8 hours). Spot treatment: mix a tank of 1% EM•Viro, spray as a fine mist spray over the area that is causing the odour and reapply as required to manage the odour; Integrated treatment: introducing a regular input of EM•Viro into the waste, usually at dilutions between 1:1000 and 1:10 000 of EM•Viro to waste volumes.
Initial treatment – spray floors and walls with a 1: 50 (Ratio of EM•Viro diluted with water) daily for a week; Long term maintenance – spray floors and walls with a 1:200 (Ratio of EM•Viro diluted with water) once per week; Application of 1:1000 (Ratio of EM•Viro diluted with water) through atomising mist sprayers in holding pens and barns
